Ball valves

The main feature of ball valves is that the closing element is a ball, self-aligningly installed between two plastic seat rings (PTFE). Ball valves close reliably within the entire pressure range, even with small pressure differences.

It is not advisable to use ball valves for regulating of the flowing material, even for throttling operation only for a very short time.

Ball valves are closed and opened by turning the ball 90°, which is limited by a bumper. It can be operated manually or mechanically; the mechanical operation can be pneumatic or electric.

Ball valves are made with three types of connections: internal thread, welding-end and flange. Ball valves can be opened and closed very quickly, so their installation is advisable in places where the rising pressure caused by rapid opening and closing does not cause damage to the pipeline system, or where rapid opening and closing is required.

The ball valves are equipped with surface protection, the outlet and inlet holes are protected from external contamination by plastic plugs.
